Trauma-Informed Care

Repressing emotions can lead to physical symptoms and prolonged suffering. One of the characteristics that makes me and my services unique and beneficial as a mental health professional is that I understand and respect the deep connection between mind and body. My trauma-informed approach to therapy focuses on releasing stored emotions through somatic therapies such as Neurofeedback, DBT, Mindfulness Meditation, Breathing Practices Self-compassion and many others which promotes regulation holistic healing and well-being in mind and body.
