New Client Information

Guy Holding a Phone

We're glad you found us.

Beginning therapy can be a difficult call to make, but the process for becoming a new client here is decidedly easy, and the benefits of therapy are great.

Before you come in the first time:

Step 1: Call Kate Novian on the main office line at (210)415-2542 to set up your first session.  It will either be an Initial Consultation or a qEEG.  Regardless of the type of session it will last 2 hours.

Step 2: You can read our Informed Consent and Privacy Policies on our website, and we will also provide you with a hard copy when you come for your first session.

Step 3: Fill out and submit the Client Agreement and Intake Form on our secure portal so you can make the most use of your appointment time.

Your First Session

Get to know us.

When you first walk in, Kate will greet you, make sure you're comfortable, and check to see if your paperwork is complete.  If you prefer to fill it out here, then she can walk you through it and answer any questions you have.  It's really up to you.

Then you'll go see Dr. Novian.  Regardless of whether you schedule an Initial Consultation or qEEG, Dr. Novian will talk to you about your goals and your reasons for coming in.  He'll answer any clinical questions you have, and make sure he is a good fit for you.  After that, you'll continue with your session!
