Introducing Brianner Lutterman, MA, NCC, LPC-Intern

Updated: Mar 3, 2020

By Dr. Allen Novian

Update: We are so proud of Brianne for becoming a FULLY LICENSED LPC!!! She has moved on to other career opportunities upon receiving her license, and we wish her all the best in her future as a Licensed Professional Counselor. While Brianne is no longer with iCNS, we look forward to bringing in new LPC-Interns to offer counseling, neurofeedback, and biofeedback services in the near future.

Original Post:

We are SO excited to be welcoming a new member of our team. Brianne specializes in working with children and teens 8 years old and up, and she fills in a much needed roll in our office. We are so happy to have someone who can work with our younger clients in a talk therapy capacity, as well as the family therapy piece that has been missing for us. She graduated in 2009 with her undergrad from the University of Iowa, and moved to San Antonio, where she received her Masters degree in Community Counseling from UTSA in 2012.

Brianne is ahead of the curve, as she already has her NCC (National Certified Counselor), but she is also pursuing her LPC license (Licensed Professional Counselor) and is obtaining her supervision hours under Dr. Novian. For right now, Brianne is at our office on Mondays, but she does come in for scattered appointments throughout the rest of the week as well. In addition to working with us, Brianne is also working at Roy Maas’ Youth Alternatives, where she works with children and adolescents who are in the care of Child Protective Services.

She came to us partly because of her interest in the brain, and how it influences all aspects of our lives. She is learning about neurofeedback with us, as well.
